Making application to the FAS Overseas Graduate Programme.
-
Application must be made using the FAS Overseas Graduate Programme Application Form. The form consists of 4 pages:
to move from one page to the next you should click on the 'NEXT PAGE' button or choose a page number.
- At any time while making an application, you may click
on the 'SAVE FOR LATER' button. This button allows you to save your partially completed application for completion
later. Because you will be making your application using a Web Browser,
it is strongly recommended that you use the 'SAVE FOR LATER' button each time you complete a section
of the Application Form! Otherwise, you may loose information already inputted.
- Only when you have completed and thoroughly checked your
Application Form including your attachments should you use the 'Apply Now' button.
- Do not cut and paste application information from another document or source.
The formatting associated with such pasted information may cause "corruption" to your application details when used
subsequently by FAS.
- All applicants must upload a copy of their CV
(in Microsoft Office Word format with a file size no larger than 100KB.)
- Post-Graduate applicants include those doing Masters, PhD’s,

'APPLY NOW' button. This button saves the completed application ready for processing.
Please note: Applications saved using the 'SAVE FOR LATER' button will not be processed unless they are
subsequently saved using the 'APPLY NOW' button.
- Each section of the Application Form must be completed in full.
- The matching of an applicant’s qualifications to a specific employer’s
Job Description is performed by way of computer selection. An incomplete Application Forms may exclude an applicant from some placement
opportunities.
- The application form, as submitted to FAS, may be copied to foreign employers
who may not be familiar with abbreviations and 'jargon' readily understood in Ireland. Words, phrases and sentences used in an Application
Form are likely to be interpreted literally by an Employer. Therefore, please choose your words, phrases and sentences carefully.
- Photographs - a smart, clean and "business-like" appearance is essential.
It is recommended that gentlemen be photographed wearing a shirt & tie and ladies wearing a blouse or similar.
- The scanned portrait photograph must be of good quality and be in JPEG format.
(The photo dimensions must be approx 7.5 CMS x 6.5 CMS with file size no larger than 200KB.)
